Our Founder

Background

As a Los Angeles native, Whitney Anderson learned the importance of exposure and access to resources, she quickly became an advocate for self and others. With minimal to no resources in the inner city Whitney witnessed poverty, homelessness and hunger within the community. Her mother instilled compassion, love and empathy in her, those valuables have lead her to be a helping hand to those in need.

Beliefs

Whitney believes that all people deserve a quality of life no matter their circumstances and or social economic status.

Motivation

Whitney is an advent leader within her community and is compelled to do her part and making the world a better place. A task that may seem impossible is made accessible through our program pillars . In addition to her philanthropic efforts Whitney is a dedicated nurse by trade.

Sixty percent of individuals experiencing homelessness are male, though unsheltered homelessness rose by five percent among women and girls. More than a quarter of those experiencing homelessness were with their families and children.

World hunger is on the rise, affecting nearly ten percent of people globally. From 2019-2022, the number of undernourished people grew by as many as 150 million, a crisis driven largely by conflict, climate change, and the COVID-19 pandemic.

Today’s youth continues to be exposed to many factors that increase their risk for addiction, academic failure and poor mental and physical health. Children most at risk for severe behavioral problems are typically those who lack a stable support system at home.
